Information we collect
Startup CG collects information you provide when you create an account, submit a startup or idea, complete a profile, contact another participant, or contact our team. This may include your name, email address, profile details, organisation information, and submitted documents.
Google sign-in
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information Google makes available with your permission, such as your name and verified email address. We use this information to create or access your Startup CG account. We do not receive your Google password.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, operate the startup directory, review submissions, facilitate moderated introductions, provide support, protect the platform, and send essential account or workflow notifications.
Sharing and visibility
Submitted profiles may be reviewed by administrators and, after approval where applicable, displayed in public directories. Moderated introduction requests are shared with the intended recipient only after the relevant review process. We do not sell personal information.
Data retention and security
We retain account and submission information while it is needed to provide the service, meet operational needs, or comply with legal obligations. We use access controls, password hashing, secure reset tokens, and reasonable technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account information by contacting us. You may also stop using Google sign-in or revoke Startup CG access from your Google Account security settings.
